Ashley McDonald, MSW, creates a warm, supportive, and welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. She views therapy as a collaborative process and works alongside clients to better understand their experiences, recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

Ashley earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University after completing her undergraduate education at Florida Atlantic University. Her interest in mental health stems from a genuine curiosity about people and the experiences, relationships, environments, and transitions that shape our lives.

Ashley works with children, adolescents, teens, and adults who have ADHD, autism or who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, emotional and behavioral concerns, life transitions, and difficult or traumatic experiences. She uses a warm, individualized approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based, and solution-focused strategies. With younger clients, she also uses creative and interactive activities to support emotional expression and make therapy engaging and accessible.

Ashley believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all. She meets clients where they are, helping them identify what matters most, build on their existing strengths, and develop tools that feel realistic and useful in everyday life. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they navigate challenges and discover new possibilities.

Outside of her work, Ashley is a proud mom who enjoys traveling, trying new foods and experiences, and staying active and healthy. She values continued personal and professional growth and brings that same curiosity, encouragement, and positivity to her work with clients.
